| You can help save the endangered whooping crane by joining the Crane Club today! |
“We received a gift for the cranes from a third grade student who had attended a whooping crane presentation at her school. Inside was $50 that she had received for her birthday from friends and family. She wanted to give it all to the cranes.” - Bobby Hjelmgren, Education Specialist, Necedah National Wildlife Refuge.
Your role is key to the species' continued survival in the wild. Your donation will go directly to support recovery efforts.
The Crane Club welcomes contributors at the $100, $250, $500 and $1,000 levels.
A donation to the Crane Club can be a unique and meaningful gift in memory or honor of a loved one, or in celebration of a birthday, anniversary or other special occasion. Giving a Crane Club membership to a school classroom is a great way to get youth involved in the recovery project, and can give schoolchildren a hands-on experience with endangered species protection.
You can also create a named, endowed fund for the whooping cranes to ensure that these magnificent birds are never again threatened by extinction. Go to the Wisconsin Conservation Endowment to learn more about how you can perpetually protect future generations of whooping cranes.
Leave a legacy gift to the whooping cranes by dedicating a gift to the Natural Resources Foundation’s Whooping Crane Reintroduction Project in your will or estate plan. Go to Planned Giving to learn more about how you can leave a lasting gift to the cranes.
